Studio Film
Acting Technique

The acting classes are built to give students a place to challenge themselves, collaborate with others, and grow as artists. Through on-camera work, script exploration, improvisation, audition exercises, and performance training, students learn how to bring greater truth, specificity, and confidence to their acting. we believe growth happens when people feel safe enough to take creative risks, experiment, and discover what makes them unique. Our goal is to help students strengthen their skills, build a strong foundation, and develop a lasting appreciation for the craft.

THE RIGHT CLASS FOR YOU

THE RIGHT CLASS FOR YOU

Teen Film Actor Intensive
(Five Consecutive Days)

This five-day Teen Film Acting Intensive is an immersive introduction to the skills needed to perform naturally and confidently on camera. Students will spend the week working through audition scenarios, partner exercises, filmed performances, and character-based storytelling while learning how to trust their instincts and connect with the material. Along the way, they'll gain practical tools they can use in future auditions, school productions, and creative projects. Whether someone is completely new to acting or already has experience, my goal is to help them develop strong technique, imagination, and a genuine love for storytelling.

This weekly Film Acting Class is designed for actors who are committed to pursuing professional work in film and television. Our  sessions offer focused training in camera performance, scene work, audition preparation, and script analysis, giving actors a dedicated space to sharpen their skills and stay creatively active between auditions and bookings. Rather than simply discussing acting, we put the work into practice every week. The goal is to help actors deepen their craft, elevate the quality of their performances, and develop the consistency required to compete in today's industry.

CURRICULUM & TOPICS

SCENE STUDY

Examining the script gives actors opportunity to apply their craft to scripted material by exploring character relationships, objectives, and behavior while learning how to create truthful, compelling performances on camera.

WARM UPS

Each class begins with creative warmups inspired by Spolin improvisation, Linklater voice work, and movement exercises designed to get actors out of their heads, engaged with their imagination, and fully present in the room .

ON CAMERA TECHNIQUE

We help actors understand how to work confidently with the camera by learning skills such as framing, continuity, hitting marks and making performance adjustments that read truthfully and effectively on screen.

SELF TAPES & COLD READS

We encourage actors to build real-world audition skills by learning how to quickly connect to a script, make clear acting choices, and deliver confident, compelling performances both in the room and on camera.
